The São Mateus celebrations in Riberinha are not only a festivity but also funds are raised for the reconstruction of the church destroyed in the earthquake of 1998. There will be spiritual events, a trail run and of course a party with chamarritas, a concert of the philharmonic orchestra, a concert of Onde Jovem, the musical Avô e Netos and a folkloric presentation.
