Tu na Horta – Sorority Meeting

Tu na Horta, the first sorority meeting of Horta. Did you know that student fraternities are called tuna. The students are dressed in traditional university gowns, play traditional instruments and sing serenades. The tradition dates back to the 13th century Spain and Portugal where students were singing to earn money for food. This weekend, a meeting is hosted in Horta.
