Entre Ilhas – Embarking on a voyage through the Azores archipelago provides an immersive journey into the heart of the Azores and the recollections of its residents. This journey transports us to an era when life in this secluded location was dictated by boats. The only means to depart and return to the island was aboard these vessels. This narrative explores what existence was like in this Atlantic Ocean enclave when the sea was the sole accessible route, and the boat’s whistle served as the only timepiece, signifying the presence of an unseen world.
