Exercise AÇOR23

The Portuguese Armed Forces hold their military exercise Açor23 this year in Faial, remembering the 25th anniversary of the earthquake of 1998. In the framework of the exercise there will be events open to the public. On Saturday evening a concert of the Military Orchestra of the Azores in the Teatro Faialense. The entry is free, but you have to get tickets, either at the market or the box office. On Sunday morning, the military will give a demonstration of its capabilities at the ferry terminal.
