MUMA 2021-2022 is back, and with a different format. To get around the pandemic’s negative moments, we have divided the festival into four different events, between September 2021 and May 2022, with a lot of music and more.
The first event will take place on the 4th of September in the open air amphitheatre of the ALRA building, with the presentation of the new projects by B Fachada and Monday. Fachada does not have the proficiency of former times but released in 2020 the acclaimed “Rapazes e Raposas”, another superb set of songs that confirm him as a unique figure in the history of Portuguese popular music of the 21st century. Catarina Falcão, in her reincarnation as Monday, released in 2020 the EP “Room for All” where she exchanges the folk influences for a carefree and dreamy aesthetic, but where no detail is left to coincidence. In Faial she will perform in a more intimate format, accompanied on stage by the guitarist and producer of “Room For All”, Miguel Nicolau (Memória de Peixe).
The entrance is free and limited to available places, by order of arrival.
