Save the date for the Semana do Mar 2023 in Horta. The biggest event of the city of the sea has just been scheduled for 2023. From August 6 to 13, Horta will host once more the biggest nautical event of Portugal. All about the sea and much more. Concerts for all tastes until early in the morning, cultural events, gastronomy from Faial, the Azores and Portugal, kids activities and of course events on the sea.

If you are making your travel plans for the summer, book now, hotels, rental cars, tours will soon be booked out. Not only in Faial for the Semana do Mar, but also for Pico and São Jorge. All dates of the big summer parties have been announced.

- Festival de Julho from July 14 to 17- The July Festival in Vila de Calheta in São Jorge with Hybrid Theory – Tribute to Linkin Park, Supa Squad, Virgul, Rebel Kidz Crew, Turb’ ó Baile, the Jorgenses Tributo, Dianja and the regional night with Cantigas ao Desafio
- Festas da Madalena fromJuly 20 to 23, the Festival of Madalena in Pico
- Festival Cais Agosto from July 26 to 30 – The August Festival in São Roque do Pico with Maninho, Banda IRIS, Richie Campbell e Sons do Minho
- From August 6 to 13, Semana do Mar in Horta, the Sea Week, the biggest nautical festival of the country, the headliners have not yet been announced, but you can be sure that there will be full house
- Semana dos Baleeiros from August 21 to 27 – The Whalers Week in Lajes do Pico
