A special retrospective exhibition commemorating 10 years of the Casa Manuel de Arriaga. Manuel de Arriaga is probably the best know son of Horta being the first elected president of the First Portuguese Republic.
Casa Manuel de Arriga is an 18th century building, where Manuel de Arriaga was born and lived until he was 18 years old. Classified as Property of Public Interest, it was rehabilitated to become a nucleus of the Museum of Horta. Inaugurated 19 November 2011, ten years after the inauguration it is time to divulge the multiple events that took place there, which included temporary exhibitions of diverse themes about regional and national history, customs and traditions, painting, sculpture and photography, musical concerts, theatre, colloquiums, conferences and national and international workshops.
