Well that ‘s not what we wanted…Unfortunately due to the actual situation of the COVID pandemic all New Year’s Eve events on Faial have been cancelled. Even thought the regulations would allow for events subject to testing, all venues have cancelled their events until further notice. As sad as it is, the community of Faial shows once more its responsibility towards society and our Island went into a voluntary lock-down for the good of all. If you are celebrating the New Year in a private party, please respect the well known rules.
