Exhibition – International Day of Meteorology

March 23 is the international day of meteorology, on that occasion the Museu da Horta organizes an exhibition. This small exhibition set up jointly with the IMPA, the Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera shows some early instruments used to observe the weather. The first meteorological station in Horta was located in the tower of the south wing of the Jesuit College. Where an important work in the collection of meteorological data and information was done. This post was located where the Museum of Horta is today, thus there is a direct connection to the museum.
