The Theater production, Semente, O Homem Que Plantava Árvores – The Man Who Planted Trees will be preformed by the Theater Studio Ajidanha in the Teatro Faialense. Inspired by true events, The Man Who Planted Trees is an unforgettable story about the power a human being has to influence the world around him. It tells of one man’s life and his lonely, constant, patient effort to make the place where he lives a special place. It is an admirable story that shows us how a humble man, insignificant in the eyes of society, living away from the world and using only his own means, manages to reforest by himself one of the most inhospitable and arid regions of France.
