These guys have probable the best classroom you can imagine. The students sailing on the topsail schooner Thor Heyerdahl surely spend an exciting time on board. Currently the 3 mast ship is moored in Horta and the students will support the communities in Faial. Join the the students from Thor Heyerdahl with the beach clean up. Jointly with the initiative No More Plastics for the Azores there will be beach clean up’s and riverbed cleaning in Faial. Meeting point is in front of Peter’s at 9 am. The different groups will clean in the harbor area and Conceição, Feteira, Porto Pim, Castlo Branco and the river in Flamengos. After returning at around 12.30, there will be a light lunch in the Sala Peter. Join the students and help to keep our beaches clean.
