The season of the festivities of the Holy Spirits is starting in Faial. The Império da Ponte in Flamengos celebrates this weekend with an extensive program. It opens on Thursday with a round table discussion about the importance of the Holy Spirit festivities in everyday’s life in Faial. On Friday evening there will be folk dance and a karaoke party with Paulo Xavier. On Saturday and Sunday, of course the spiritual part of the festivities with the procession, the coronation, the soups and the holy mass. Besides there is more partying, Saturday evening opens with a barbeque followed by a concert of the Filarmónica Nova Artista, a concert with Dianja and À Moda Antiga until early.
