Even though we are far away from the events in Ukraine, these are sad days for everybody.
In Faial we do have as usual some good events, also this week-end. There are no public carnival events, but the schools and civic associations of Faial present the Portuguese carnival traditions in Horta. We have some ongoing exhibitions including a new art exhibition opened in the library. For those interested in crafts, in the Casa Manuel de Arriaga an exhibition opens on old carpentry tools. You can explore with your family the history of the Clock Tower organised by the Museum of Horta. For the smallest ones there is an activity to learn about the sounds of our farm animals.
If you follow and like www.visitfaial.com on Facebook, you will be updated on the situation in Faial. As soon as there are new events, we will be the first ones to publish them and let you know what’s up this week-end in Faial.
