Movie Cycle – Women in the 21 Century
The Cineclube presents the next movie cycle dedicated to women in the 21st century. Mustang, Worst Person in the World and Woman at War.
The Worst Person in the World (2021) by Norwegian Joachim Trier, an acid comedy about love. With a certain serious lightness, the director follows a young woman into the bowels of her soul, including the most radical choices in her love life. The film was awarded at the Cannes Film Festival 2021 (Renate Reinsve received the Best Actress award) and has two nominations for the Oscars 2022 (Best Foreign Film and Best Original Screenplay).
